Query
Paginated, searchable football competitions for the operator Matches filter + competitions list + create picker (M16, DL-19). Bounded server-side (POD-627): the unbounded full set serializes past the Lambda 6MB response cap. Name / short-name / code ILIKE search, sortable + paginated. Default ordering by name.
The country / season / status / competitionType filters narrow by exact match and
compose with each other AND with search (all ANDed), so the list can be reached by
attribute rather than only by name. footballCompetitionFilterOptions supplies the nation
and season values actually in use.

country | String | Exact nation code, e.g. GB-ENG or FR. Competitions whose country is NULL are excluded when this is set — which is most of a provider-ingested corpus, not just continental competitions: the football mint path never writes country, so only operator-edited rows carry one. |
season | String | Exact season string as stored. Match it against footballCompetitionFilterOptions.seasons rather than assuming a format — the column is unnormalised and its writers disagree (2025 from the Opta lane, 2025-26 elsewhere, operator free text). |
