Fields
Section titled “Fields”| Field | Args | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
rank | — | Int! required | League position as the VENDOR published it, including ties. Standard competition ranking — tied teams share a place and the next distinct value skips — so positions are NOT unique and max(rank) is not a team count. This is the competition’s own adjudication, carrying its tie-break rules; it is never re-derived from row order. |
team | — | Team | The ranked team. NULLABLE BY DESIGN: a soft-deleted or merged participant degrades to a null edge while the ranked row still surfaces, rather than one merge collapsing the whole table into an error. |
points | — | Int | — |
played | — | Int | — |
won | — | Int | — |
drawn | — | Int | — |
lost | — | Int | — |
goalsFor | — | Int | — |
goalsAgainst | — | Int | — |
goalDifference | — | Int | Derived from goalsFor - goalsAgainst; null unless both are present. |
pointsDeduction | — | FootballPointsDeduction | Points deducted from this team by the competition, with the vendor’s own explanation — e.g. “Southampton were deducted four points due to breaches of EFL regulations”. Already reflected in points; this is the annotation, never an adjustment to apply. |
qualification | — | FootballQualificationZone | The promotion/relegation/qualification zone this team sits in, where the feed publishes one, e.g. Relegation / League_Position. |
